Weekly schedule for yoga @ Run With It!

Mondays at 6:30pm- Intermediate yoga class

Yoga for Runners and athletes- This intermediate class is a “Yoga for Runners and athletes- power flow” class . In this class Katherine focuses on doing a lot of posterior chain openers with effort to build strength (something that runners need). Our bodies need movement. Movement is medicine, but often times with runners, we go one direction and forget all the other movement our bodies are capable of and it can lead to stiffness and injury.

This is perfect for runners and athletes that want to complement their existing exercise routine.

Thursdays at 6:30pm- Beginner yoga class

This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. It will be a slow-paced stretching class, focusing on alignment with some simple breathing exercises. This is a good place to learn relaxation techniques, beginner poses and become comfortable with yoga.

Perfect class for someone who is interested in:

  • Increase range of motion
  • Relieve stiffness and soreness
  • Enhance your lifestyle to allow you to do the things you want to do (play with the kids, run a race, work in the yard)  

About our yoga teacher

We are excited to present “Yoga with Katherine” at Run With It on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30PM-7:30PM. 
Katherine Sculthorpe is a RYT 200 certified yoga teacher. She teaches power, sculpt, and vinyasa flow. As a runner of 30 years, she is focusing this class on range of motion through movement and posterior chain flexibility for runners and athletes.

  • Beginner class is $15 at the door.
  • Intermediate class is $20 at the door.
  • Please bring your own yoga mat and some bottled water for hydration!
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in.
